Harold S Eaton 1924 - 1995 Harold used to say that he was rarely known as himself. He was initially known as "Stan Eaton's son" and seemingly soon afterwards was being introduced as "Dennis, Grant or Julie Eaton's father". But that's life - and so in turn, I am proud to be known as Harold's son or equally as Barnaby, Nigel, Timothy, or Sarah Eaton's dad.         - Grant. I have included a page about my father, Harold, here because he had a significant influence on my musical and spiritual development. He was an accomplished musician - pianist, singer, composer and conductor. Before he passed away in 1995, he made lounge room recordings of some hymn improvisations, and vocal solos and duets. I am still working through his tapes and unpublished compositions and will add significant examples as editing is complete. "Hymns with Harold" - a CD of hymn improvisations and solos.
